Pennsylvania State Climatologist
The goal of the State Climatologist office is to provide the most accurate and complete climatological data available for the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This data is presented in several different ways to allow the user maximum flexibility for searching our archives. In cooperation with the National Weather Service's Central Pennsylvania Forecast Office and the National Climate Data Center (Asheville, NC), the Pennsylvania State Climatologist provides detailed climatic information, primarily for Pennsylvania in a timely manner.

Weather World
Since its inception in 1957, the hallmark of the weather presentation from Penn State has been a respect for the viewers' desire and ability to understand the world around them. The daily cooperation between the largest atmospheric science department in the world and one of the finest university PBS stations in the country has helped fulfill the mission of this land grant institution -- to serve the citizens of the Commonwealth through the benefits of its research.
Weather World airs on the Pennsylvania Cable Network weekdays 5:45 p.m. Central Pennsylvania residences can also watch the show on WPSU, a public broadcasting channel, weekdays at 5:30 and 5:45 p.m.
Weather or Not
Weather or Not is a fun and educational weather television show created and produced by students in the Department of Meteorology and Atmospheric Science at Penn State. The show reviews the latest in weather-related news, provides the weekend forecast, answers common meteorological questions, and explores how weather ties into everyday life. A new fifteen-minute show airs on Centre County’s C-Net, Channel 7, each week.
Campus Weather Service
The Campus Weather Service is a completely student-run organization that provides forecasts free-of-charge over various media to the community. In addition to web-based forecasts, they currently provide forecasts to radio stations across central and northwest Pennsylvania, to the student newspaper, the Collegian, and their video team is active with C-NET. They also provide radio clients with fast severe weather alerts as they become available.

Penn State Weather Camp
Penn State Weather Camp is a resident science experience designed for students who will enter grades eight through ten in the fall. During this week of camp, participants will receive hand-on experience in many aspects of weather, including the actual process of making a forecast. Campers will gain an appreciation for the wonders, complexity, and beauty of the atmosphere, and for people who have chosen careers in meteorology.
