What made you choose your major?
I chose Energy Business and Finance because I am passionate about both business and the environment and this major bridges the gap between the two. It is a unique program that exposes students to the energy and business sectors simultaneously.
What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am involved in Delta Sigma Pi Professional Business Fraternity, Society for Energy Business and Finance, and am a player on Crisis, the Penn State Women’s Ultimate Frisbee team.
Why did you decide to attend Penn State?
I decided to attend Penn State because of the academic, extracurricular, and social opportunities the college has to offer. Though there are thousands of students, the close-knit community feeling and PSU pride is like none other.
What’s the best part about being an EMS student?
Having the EMS faculty as a resource. They truly care about the success of their students and want to see everyone grow academically and professionally.
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective students?
Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things. Whether that be joining a club or taking a class you are unfamiliar with. College is all about meeting new people and figuring out what you like and don’t like.
