What made you choose your major?
I choose my major because I enjoy learning about how petroleum engineers are needed to make sure the drilling process is safe for everyone and I want to be a part of that and make a difference in the world.
What student organizations and activities are you involved in?
I am in involved in the Society of Petroleum Engineers, African Students Association, Student Minority Advising Recruitment Team, BLUEprint Peer Mentoring, and National Society of Black Engineers.
What’s the best part about being an EMS student?
The best part about being an EMS student is knowing that the faculty and staff are there for you to make sure that you are not only successful during your time at Penn State but also after you graduate.
What is one piece of advice you would give to prospective students?
One piece of advice I would give to prospective students is to take advantage of every single opportunity at Penn State.
What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in college so far?
The most important lesson I’ve learned in college so far is to never give up on your dreams even if the road gets bumpy along the way always remember what’s at the finish line.
