Established in 2006, the GEMS Diamond Award honors and recognizes a graduating student who shows excellence and balance in academic achievement and volunteer involvement in both university and community activities during their time as a College of Earth and Mineral Sciences student. A lifetime membership in the Penn State Alumni Association will be awarded to the recipient.
